EverQuest Legends v nových FAQ detailně popisuje monetizaci, přepínání tříd, rasy, zóny a další informace.

When EverQuest Legends was announced earlier this week, fans were talking about… well, a lot of other stuff, but there were also some regular questions that were raised among the lot. As such, Game Jawn has assembled an FAQ in Discord to provide a bit more granular detail about what to expect when the new-old MMORPG launches in July. Here are the highlights.
- Beta is expected for sometime in April, with date and other details to be shared later. Rest assured testing populations will ramp up as beta slides along.
- Expansions will indeed arrive to EQL later, with Kunark being in the works. Other additional content is also promised, with details coming later.
- Once again, EQL will be a subscription game that’s separate from All-Access or Krono. There will also be a cash shop that will include “cosmetic and utility items” such as XP potions and “special new items that can be used to customize your character.”
- There are no plans for PvP servers currently. Additionally, characters can not be transferred between EQ1 and EQL.
- On multiclassing: Players will start out with race-specific classes at character creation, while any class can be chosen as a secondary and again at level 10 for the third class. Swapping primary class to any of the unlocked options can be done at any major hub city, while second and third classes can be changed without needing unlocks.
- “The baseline difficulty is roughly the same as 1999 EverQuest.”
- Zones will have three levels of selectable difficulty settings, with higher difficulty increasing XP and rare item rewards, naturally. Incidentally, the planes of fear and hate will indeed be in-game during beta as well as launch.
- Housing will be in-game at launch, guild halls won’t.
- Snakes will still kick and players are being warned about dangerous monk skill snakes out there. We’re not sure if the devs are joking but it’s probably best not to take chances.
