Mobilní dungeon delver Elder Scrolls Blades oznamuje ukončení hry 30. června

Yes, we also forgot entirely about Elder Scrolls: Blades, the multiplayer mobile and Nintendo Switch dungeon crawler that started life back in 2019, pushed through a rocky early access period, and eventually went on to appear to right some of its initial wrongs and establish some small playerbase. The game was even marking a fourth anniversary in 2023 and adding new stuff like PvP.
Apparently that playerbase was too small, dwindling, or not buying stuff because fans of the title are reporting the game is headed for a shutdown on Tuesday, June 30th. What’s more, the announcement is being made in-game; there hasn’t been any official announcement on social media that we’ve seen, and Bethesda has already closed the game’s website. Cold.
As a way of saying thanks to those who have been playing the game these past seven years, all of the gem and sigil items have had their costs reduced to one currency, and players are being handed a bundle of free such currencies to “enjoy all [the] content Blades has to offer.” So yes, while this might not be expected, it’s still a bit of a downer and ignominious end.
